STATISTICS

The mission of the Black Leadership Commission on AIDS of Baltimore is to mobilize and educate African-American leaders in the City of Baltimore to respond to HIV/AIDS and public health, to enhance the African-American communities’ access wherever public policy is deliberated and resources are allocated, and to serve as advocates and provide support to frontline agencies in their daily war on AIDS in Baltimore communities.  Through the leadership, the BLCA of Baltimore will work to ensure the equitable allocation of resources for the African American community and to enhance the capacity of local direct service organizations.  BLCA of Baltimore will develop plans together and engage in joint advocacy at all levels of government to protect and strengthen the public health and disease prevention efforts of the City of Baltimore.
