The mission of the Black Leadership Commission on AIDS of New York City  (BLCA OF NYC) is to improve through program development, policy formation, resource exchange, advocacy and technical assistance the health care of African-Americans challenged by HIV/AIDS.

Under its mission, BLCA of NYC will inform, coordinate and organize the volunteer efforts of the indigenous Black leadership, including clergy, elected officials, medical practitioners, business professionals, social policy experts and the media to meet the challenge of fighting HIV/AIDS in New York City.
